A place I called ….

I have chosen a place as my getaway…

A getaway from a destructive reality and pain…

I brought my dreams and hopes along with me cos this place made me feel safe and at ease…

My only question…

How could she?

She blindly robbed the only thing that has been keeping me safe and sound…

I have nowhere to go…

I am the moon

before…

…I could escape the day

away from all the pretense

when the land was dark…

…I could not hide

and my best friends were the clouds

every time I wanted to cry, they hid me

and made the world think that it was them…

…who blessed the earth with a downpour

Until…

The wind blew my guardians away…

and left me unguarded

from arduous nights…

4 to what?! NOTHING!

I believed I just witnessed one of MU’s best second halves! There were several displays of phenomenal and incontrovertible teamwork! I couldn’t ask for anything better than that! The first half of the match was rather disappointing apart from Scholes’ opening goal. Then came the second half and Gibson contributed to the 2nd inspiring goal! Then Valencia and Rooney scored a goal each within 2 minutes! In today’s defence, they performed better than the previous matches but it was not their best to date! My biggest concern is that with Ferdinand, Evans, O’shea and from the look of the match earlier, Neville and Brown not playing in the next few games, I have no idea what they are going to do with their effete defence! what a waste of talent if Fergie had to place Carrick and Fletcher playing along Vidic as two of the back four in the next game huhu Nonetheless, the boys wrapped up the game with a four-nil victory!

On the whole, sleep well Aspa! and before I do, Imma stay up and liat chelsea kalah!

That’s the end of it…

…and a beginning of something.

Yesterday, I bid farewell to my 5th semester and FASS huhu…nonetheless…I have 3 more semesters to go I only have a week to savor freedom then it’s back to weeks of hecticness. My cousin, Ida, is getting married…SOON…and I…will be her pengapit (bridesmaid, I think). Yesterday I had a fitting for my baju pengapit. I’m happy and I should be since I’m paying for it!

Last night, I was supposed to be out celebrating my “independence” haha but I had a plan with the family right after I picked them up from the airport so yea, so much for a night out with the frenzies…

For the next three weeks, I’ll be spending SOME quality time with the sisters and cousins (dad’s side)…It’s so immensely difficult to keep up with your cousins when you have like what? 64 of them – balah bapa baru ni! AND…first cousins! some I haven’t seen for years cos they’ve been away to further their studies…too bad that I have several more cousins who are going to miss the wedding due to the same reason.

So…I have books that I’m planning to read during the holiday, I have zillion hours to kill for god’s sake! and the best part, movie marathon!!! hoorah!

I guess I have nothing much to update on myself. not seeing anyone, too busy! oh yea *snaps fingers* we played UNO a few nights ago here at my place and I was or rather FORCED to do a dare and it was UGLY! that’s all I can say hahhaa yet, it was fun! One final thing, it’s been a year since I first started blogging and I’ll be doing just that…for now

• Tuesday, 1/12 – LS2401 Intermediate Spanish (2pm) YEAH!!!
• Wednesday, 2/12 – EL3220 Semantics and Pragmatics (9am) 3 hours seemed like 30 mins
• Thursday, 3/12 – EL3402 Functional Systemic Grammar (2pm) It was just something that I had to do!

Proud mama!

What can I say? I love my drama people and I’m so proud of them! We’ve been together for 14 weeks and we’ve been through thick and thin together as one. Initially, I didn’t want to do Drama Studies because I was scared but somehow I felt that I was fated to do the course and I’m glad that I did all I want to say is – CONGRATULATIONS on the brilliant performance earlier this afternoon…plus, we aced the coursework! Well done! We deserved it! Anyhoots, it’s time to focus on the exam (in less than a week), can’t wait! And I’m sure gonna miss you all. I truly enjoyed the time we spent together – priceless! :’) all the best you guys!

Glee-ed

Indeed! Hey I’m Aspa and I’m a Glee addict si Ash ni punya pasal, he introduced glee to me…siuk la (I know ada some cakap it’s overrated, sendiri ko overrated!) The plot is alright, music is great. Hopefully in the future they’ll do more mash-up cuz they make the songs their own bah…having said that, I used to hate some of the songs that were sung in it like “rehab” & “gold digger”…but now – love em’ they made the songs loveable…okay, here is my fav.
